These directions are from the car park at Glencoyne, but an option is to extend the walk,  to Glencoyne Bay and then return via Glencoyne Head and Dowthwaitehead

Proceed up the Seldom seen path, turning left at Nick Head and gentle gradient to Sheffield Pike

Follow the path along to Glenridding Dodd and return down a fairly steep path and back along the Ullswater Way
